The Role of “Urdu Markaz” in the promotion of Urdu literature

Allama Tajwar Najeebabadi was a prominent creative writer, Editor of number of literary magazines and compiler of literary books published from publishing organization named as “Urdu Markaz”. His markable selections from Urdu literature of all times were everlasting. Eminanat scholars, poets and writers, such as Asghar Gondvi, Jiger Muradabadi, Yas Yagana Changayzi , Tasadduq Hussan Khalid, Semab Akbarabadi, Hamid Ali Khan, Mayla Ram Wafa, Asgher Hussain Nazeer Ludhanvi, were engaged to arrange and select classic and modern literary work of Urdu, under UlamaTajwar’s supervision at Lahore in early twentieth century. In the presence of such great poets and scholars, the scenario of literary activities changed in Lahore.
