Abstract

Folk literature serves as a vital cultural asset for any nation, encapsulating its values, traditions, and collective identity. Balochi folk poetry, rich in expression and heritage, vividly reflects the entirety of Baloch culture. This research paper explores the various cultural elements embedded within Balochi folk poetry. The study reveals that both tangible and intangible aspects of Baloch culture, such as traditions, beliefs, values, psychological patterns, and superstitions are deeply woven into the fabric of this poetic tradition. A prominent feature of Balochi folk poetry is its unique ability to articulate the national psyche of the Baloch people in an aesthetically compelling manner. This paper presents an analytical review of these cultural manifestations and their significance in preserving and expressing Baloch identity.
