This research article explores the non-romantic dimensions of Akhtar Sharani’s poetry highlighting its intellectual depth social consciousness and aesthetic complexity. While Sharani is widely celebrated as a romantic poet this research article argues that his non-romantic verse presents a profound engagement with existential anxieties human suffering and socio-cultural contradictions.
