Sense of humour is an indispensable aspect of human nature, without which human life not only looks dull and colourless, but sometimes man reaches the limits of despair and hopelessness. That is why satire and humour are found in every literature of the world for the pursuit of an optimistic life, for which humourous writers have devised new tactics and resources; however, “satire” and “humour” has been the key to these tactics and resources. In the article under study, the scribe has tried to present the two basic tools of pleasantry, namely “satire” and“ humour”, in a critical and research-oriented manner, which the humourous writers use to cultivate laughter.
