Abstract

Hassan Abbasi was born in Tehsil Khairpur Tamewali of the ancient and historical city of Bahawalpur in Pakistan. His real name is Hassan Mahmood, but he is known as Hassan Abbasi in the world of literature. Hasan Abbasi's unconventional themes and different styles have given him a unique place in Urdu poetry. The influence of classical traditions on Hasan Abbasi's Hamdia poetry is seen here and there, but this does not affect his individuality. The color of Taghzal is dominant. In his style, scenery, language and expression, music and symbolism and brevity and comprehensiveness have created a song. Hasan Abbasi has a good skill in choosing words, using techniques and idioms. Hasan Abbasi's distinction is that he became known in every genre of speech. Although the Urdu scholar class, especially the critics, did not give him the academic and literary status that he deserved. Still, Hassan Abbasi gave Urdu poetry. He has given that poetic capital which cannot be ignored.
