A writer is an active member of his society, so he cannot live in isolation from his society. This is the reason that not only he describes his civilization and culture in his works, but at the same time he also tries to preserve the salient features of his civilization forever in his works. In the article under study, scribe has tried to present the evolutionary journey of the discussion of cultural consciousness in Urdu literature in a research and critical manner.
