A research and critical review of the tradition of satire and humour in Urdu Poetry

Abstract

In Urdu poetry, the style of satire and humour is a prominent art. The initial impressions of humor in Urdu literature seem to be influenced by Persian poetry, but gradually the writers of Satire and satire and humour in Urdu literature adapted this art to modern requirements and made it not only a permanent part of their expression, but also new ways in this art. Since its beginning, the tradition of the art of satire and humour seems to be progressing, in which the beauty of the gradual evolution can be felt. In the article under study, scribe has tried to present this gradual tradition of Urdu poetry in a research and critical manner.
