Dr. Tahira Iqbal is a famous name among women fiction writers of 21st century. Known for her deep and vivid portrayal of Punjabi culture and rural life. She beautifuly presents Punjabi culture and village life in her writings. Her novels highlight the traditions, social structure and daily lives of people in rural Punjab. Through her writings she talks about important issues like feudalism, patriarchy, folk traditions and the changing ways of village communities. Her work preserves Punjabi culture and raises questions about social and ecnomics challenges, especially for women.This article explore example how her novels Neeli Baar, Giraan, Harappa reflects the identity struggles and strength of rural Punjabi society, making her an important voice in regional literature. Tahira Iqbal’s first novel Neeli Baar is published in 2017 by Dost Publishers, Islamabad. In this novel she has describes civilization and culture of Punjab. Giraan is the second novel of Tahira Iqbal.Her novel Giraan represent the Patwari culture deeply and show us the different faces of female characters. Harappa is the third novel of Tahira Iqbal, which published in 2022 by Book Corner Jhelum. In this novel she highlights the language, society and traditions of Harappa culture, this novel also cover the topic of feudal system in villages. Tahira Iqbal gaind special recognition in very short time due to her unique style of story telling. Her stories are representative of rular background and culture. She capture the struggles of rural people, their connection to land and the influence of historical and cultural heritage on their lives.
