Abstract

Every writer has a unique way of thinking and writing. A writer views and evaluates any event or moment in life from his own perspective. He then tries to present this thought in a unique and novel manner to the reader, and it is this effort that distinguishes him from other writers. This writing style becomes his signature. The angle of thinking and writing further transforms in the fields of poetry and prose. Poets adopt a distinctive style to condense their imagination into a single verse or a few lines, while prose writers have a broader field and a vast vocabulary at their disposal, which they attempt to compress in a specific manner to convey their perspective. Every piece of writing reveals its creator. In the field of prose, there are many genres and writers, one of which is Ahmad Aqeel Ruby. Ahmad Aqeel Ruby’s prose encompasses various genres. His prose creations include novels, sketches, translations, criticism, research, plays, and biographies. He has presented his experiences and observations in different works. In each genre, he appears with a different style. In other words, he has multiple writing styles, and this is his strength and uniqueness. The present paper attempts to examine Ahmad Aqeel Ruby’s literary works from an artistic and intellectual perspective and bring his stylistics to the forefront.
