Abstract

Symbolism is a Western movement.Musharraf Alam Zauqi has been used Symbolism in his novel “Murg Anbuh”.Many symbols have been used in the novel. The term “Holocaust” is attributed to the genocide of the Jews in the World War II,  which Musharraf Alam Zauqi has used as a symbol of the genocide of Muslims in the subcontinent. “Whales”, “Bellows game”, “Blood rain”, “Red beaks”, “Magicians” and “ The red book” are used as symbols. Through these symbols the changing conditions and events of the Muslins in the subcontinent have been highlighted. Events from 1857 to 2014 have been highlighted. Musharraf Alam Zauqi has used the word "Murg Anbuh" symbolically. Just as the Jews were being genocided, similarly, efforts are being made to eliminate the Muslim race in the world. Various tactics are being used in this regard. This novel is considered one of the most important political novels. Through this novel, Musharraf Alam Zauqi is presenting a scenario of India in which Muslims are being targeted. And gradually they are being pushed towards the Holocaust. Keeping this scenario in mind, this novel has been named Marg Anbuah. Through this novel, Musharraf Alam Zauqi has described a new and burning topic.
